What sizes do the socks come in?
Tibetan Socks are unisex and can fit children's to adult sizes. Because our slipper socks they are knit from thick wool and lined in fleece, they are meant to be worn as house slippers.
Our hand knit wool socks are for men and women depending on the size purchased. They are pre-washed so buy your true size.
If you are in between sizes, size up for a roomier fit, size down for a snug fit. They will stretch about 1/2 inch over time with wear.
Adult Slipper Socks
X-Small (fits women's sizes 5-6.5 or children's size 13-4) - Measures 9" heel to toe / EU Size 36-37
Small (fits women's sizes 7-8 or boy's 4.5 - 6) - Measures 10" heel to toe / EU Size 38 - 39
Medium (fits women's sizes 8.5-10 or men's 6.5-8.5) - Measures 11" heel to toe / EU size 40 - 42
Large (fits women's sizes 10.5-12 or men's 9-11) - Measures 12" heel to toe / EU 42 - 43
X-Large: (fits Men's 11.5 - 13) - Measures 13" heel to toe / EU 44-46
How do I wash the socks?
Turn inside out, hand or machine wash on gentle with cold water, use wool shampoo or other wool detergent. Lay flat to dry.
Where do the socks come from?
Tibetan Socks are hand made by housewives in villages around the Kathmandu Valley. This generations-old handicraft provides supplemental income for their families and allows them to stay home with their children.
What is the shipping time?
You can expect delivery in 2-5 days in the United States. Express shipping is available for an additional charge.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to select countries directly from Nepal via EMS and DHL. Please note that Tibetan Socks is not responsible for any customs duties incurred. In the case of returns, postage must be paid by the customer and sent via trackable method.
What is your returns/exchange policy?
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Only the item purchase price will be refunded. Any additional shipping costs such as international shipping or expedited shipping are not refunded.
If a return is received without the original packaging and packing materials, a 10% restocking fee will be charged.
If you are returning more than 3 items, a restocking fee of 20% will be charged, regardless of the condition of the return.
For orders from Australia and Canada, the customer must pay the cost of returns postage to our returns center within the respective countries. If shipping was originally charged, it will not be refunded. Exchanges will be shipped free of charge.
For orders from all other countries, the customer must pay the cost of return shipping to the United States. The original cost of shipping will not be refunded. For exchanges from all other countries, the customer must pay the cost of shipping for the replacement unit as well as the return to the United States.
