This past July, I had the opportunity spend a month in Kathmandu where I travelled to meet with our lady knitters. This was my first visit to Nepal, and one that will stay with me forever.
Getting to meet these ladies face to face, and hearing their stories of courage in the face of devastation was heart-expanding. I visited neighboring villages such as Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where thousands of homes were flattened and many are still living in tent encampments over a year after the terrible earthquake.
Tibetan Socks was born from a desire to help others - to leave the world a more warm and loving place. It is my privilege to help tell the story of the immense beauty and soul in Nepal with you.
